Preston Hedges Trust are looking for a Governance Professional who can provide high quality support to the Trust Board. The successful candidate will join our central team in a role which can be based mainly at home, but with the expectation that they will go into schools for meetings that are not held virtually.
The role will involve 20 remote/on-line meetings of up to 2 hours per meeting with the remainder of time allocated for preparation, administration and for tasks following meetings.
The role is to commence January 2023.
- Salary: Grade I Point 22 (£27514) to Point 26 (30984)
- Hours: 10 hours a week
- Weeks per year: 38 weeks per year – term time only.
- Contract Length: Initially fixed term for the academic year to August 31st 2023, with a view to the role becoming permanent.

- Interview Date: w/c 15th December 2022
Applicants must have their own transport and be prepared to work flexibly as board/committee meetings are held mainly in the evenings. Knowledge of how school and Trust boards operate is desirable and previous experience of similar work would be advantageous. However, training opportunities are available for this role.
