Each Community Board will work across the Trust’s schools in its geographical area, bringing together local knowledge, experience and perspectives to help identify shared priorities and opportunities. The Boards will focus on:
- Listening to families and communities:
Ensuring parents and local communities have a meaningful voice in shaping priorities and decisions.
- Strengthening local partnerships:
Building relationships with local authorities, health services, community organisations and other partners to support children and families beyond the classroom.
- Responding to local needs:
Using community insight alongside information about our schools to identify priorities and areas for improvement. ·
- Supporting accountability:
Working with school leaders and the wider Trust to understand performance, celebrate successes and address local challenges.
How can parents get involved?
Parents will have opportunities to stand for election to their local Community Board, ensuring families have a direct voice in the Trust’s governance. Each Board will represent schools and communities across its area, rather than operating separately for individual schools
