They supported the schools view that Pineham Barns is a special place to learn, as ‘Relationships are warm, positive and respectful. Pupils work well together, support each other and take pride in contributing to their community.  Pupils develop a deep sense of belonging. They are fully included in school life.’

As a result of their visit, Preston Hedges Trust is delighted to share  Pineham Barns has been awarded:
Strong standard in all areas, with an exceptional grading in Early Years.

This is a huge achievement. The strong standard goes beyond the expected and recognises excellent, consistent teaching and leadership that goes above and beyond what is required, making a positive difference to the experiences and outcomes for all
children.  The schools Early Years has been recognised as exceptional, which quite simply means it is seen by Ofsted to be among the very best nationally. Ofsted describes exceptional as rare and intended only for provision that is truly among the very best nationally. It is reserved for extreme cases, where practice is so high-quality it should be shared as a model for others to support improvement both regionally and nationally.

The success of the Ofsted inspection is a true testament to the incredible team who support the children and go above and beyond every single day.
